Terms of Service

01 Who you are contracting with

SocialAPI is operated by REALITECH COMPANY LIMITED ("we", "us"). By creating an account or calling the API you agree to these terms.

Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc., who act as merchant of record. Your receipt and any refund are handled by them on our behalf.

02 What the service does

SocialAPI returns publicly available data from third-party social platforms through a single HTTP API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram or Threads.

Data is retrieved from upstream sources at the time of your request. We do not warrant that any particular endpoint will return data, or that data is complete, current or accurate. The public status board shows what is working at any moment.

03 Acceptable use

You may not use the service to collect personal data in breach of applicable privacy law, to build tools for harassment or surveillance of individuals, to re-sell raw access to the API as a competing product, or in any way that breaks the terms of the underlying platforms.

You are responsible for how you use the data you retrieve, including any onward storage, processing or publication of it.

We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to third parties, and will tell you why.

04 Plans, quotas and payment

Each plan includes a request allowance for a one-month billing period. Requests inside the allowance carry no additional charge. Requests past it consume purchased request packs, and a request that can pay for neither is refused with a 402 response.

Unused allowance does not carry into the next period. Purchased request packs do not expire.

The free trial requires a payment method. It ends after the stated number of days or once the trial request allowance is used, whichever comes first, and then converts to the paid plan you selected. You may cancel at any time before that and will not be charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that Polar is required to collect.

05 Refunds

If the service does not work as described, contact us and we will refund the current period. Request packs are refundable in full while unused.

We do not refund usage that has already been served.

06 Availability

We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. The service depends on third-party sources that can change or block access without notice, which is why upstream status is published rather than hidden.

We may change or withdraw endpoints. Where a change is material we will give notice by email to the address on your account.

07 Your data

We store your account details, API keys, and a log of the requests you make. What we keep and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time, which deletes your keys and usage history.

08 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

09 Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
